There are many ways to volunteer at St. Trinity Cemetery! If not for ALL of our staff and volunteers, we could not keep the grounds of St. Trinity Cemetery maintained as we do. THANK YOU to all for everything that you do!!!
Spring Spruce-Up

Each year, in the weeks leading up to Easter, we host an annual “Spring Spruce-Up”. Volunteers spend several hours on a Saturday morning clearing winter debris from the cemetery grounds. This consists of sticks, gumballs, trash along Lemay Ferry Road, and other cleanup projects, as needed. Lunch is provided.

Memorial Day
Veteran’s Recognition & Flag Placement

Each year in advance of Memorial Day, the graves of Veterans buried in our cemetery are honored with an American flag. In past years, Boy Scout Troop 584 has been instrumental in leading this effort. As numbers in the troop have dwindled, the congregation of Peace Lutheran Church was invited to assist this year (2026). 39 people volunteered to help place flags on nearly 200 graves. Prior to placing the flags, the Pledge of Allegiance was said at the flagpole, and Taps was played. After the flags were placed, there were refreshments, of course! On the Tuesday following Memorial Day, help is always needed to gather, clean and store the flags for the following year.

Storm Cleanup
It is not uncommon for limbs and trees to fall during storms and high winds. When the damage to the cemetery grounds is widespread, a call will go out for volunteers to help pickup sticks, and branches and clear roads. Please contact us at info@sttrinitycemetery.com or call the office at (314) 892-3662 if you would be interested in helping during these cleanup events.

Volunteer Hall of Fame
We have several volunteers who donate countless hours of time to the cemetery grounds. They maintain equipment, trim, mow, plant trees and flowers, and many other tasks. We are so thankful for their commitment!

Please contact the cemetery office at info@sttrinitycemetery.com or (314) 892-3662 with questions or for more information.
